Juang's visit part 1

It was a mixed feeling of happiness and sadness about a very precious visit from my bosom friend from Christchurch aka Miss Ai Bin. Lols I was very happy when she first arrived and felt heavy when I sent her off at the bus stop.

She is a friend who I can do anything with ranging from heart-to-heart conversation to shopping.Err..not going for a hard out marathon with her but am very happy to be her personal photographer. HAHA. With her around, there will always be laughter and she never fails to make me ROFL cos' she is really funny with a great sense of humour. When we meet, we can just catch up non-stop with endless conversation till we get very exhausted even on skype!

Since I have to work on my off day tomorrow, I am just going to blog about days1 and 2 of her physical presence in Whangarei for the time being. On 7th Jan, I was exceptionally happy in the pharmacy especially when the clock struck 7pm. So excited that I left the pharmacy on the dot to pick her up from the bus stop. Really appreciate the money, time and effort spent for her to come here.

When I first saw her, I was so high! *hugs* Then we went to Killer Prawn with Pheb in my tut-tut car. Chinese cuisine was initially the choice but the restaurant was closed and therefore, we went to one-of-the-must-try-restaurants in Whangarei.

Please go to www.killerprawn.co.nz for more information about this well known restaurant

Killer Prawn — the dish that made the restaurant famous!  Prawns in a herby, spicy, tomato and rosemary broth, served with oodles of chunky bread for dipping and a bib.
I tried a bit and it is absolutely yummy!

Phoebe and I ordered the same thing.
The return of “The Pleb” — huge steak with eggs, chips, onion rings and mushroom sauce (I reckon that it still cannot compete with Angus Steakhouse if you wanna order steak)

Close up of "The return of the Pleb"

Requested the waitress to take photo for us :)

Love onion ring.

Look at her bib! There was also a bucket that come with this dish for her to chuck the prawns' shells.

Drooling looking at food. No? It is the girl in this photo that makes people water at the mouth! Too beautiful pheb.

One of the staff was very friendly to show us around upstairs.

On second day, I had work till 7pm. On that day, Pheb made a suggestion about having Pizza and hence, we went to Domino's to do takeaway to settle our dinner. On top of this, we went to Pak n Save for a tub of hokey-pokey ice cream and Juang's Tabasco

The flavour of the pizza was ...err...i just remembered that it was newly introduced. We also ordered garlic bread, wedges, chips and TINY lava cake! The cake went very well with the ice cream. *yum*

We were still in our unappealing work uniform

After a satisfying meal, Juang had her fringe trimmed by our professional hairdresser.

Snip Snip Snip

After the work of the pair of miraculous scissors and of course, miss Pheb..Ta da!!!
