The Green Hornet

I have no idea what to blog but just feel like writing something here. Erm, the only interesting thing that happened to me during my 2 days holidays was getting lost for about 1 hour even with GPS. On Sunday morning, I went to Church. After that, I drove to Station Road, Kamo, hoping to get my haircut but my colleague gave me the wrong address so I decided to go to town. With my very powerful and "brilliant" gps, I ended up in a very quiet place with forest reserve and horses. The road was really narrow and it looked like a good scene for robbery or any unfortunate events. You can imagine the sound of the forest creatures - they really scare me man especially when it is a dead end and my GPS still keep on saying turn right on Whareora Road. Holan one my GPS but i still love it as it has helped me to get to some unfamiliar places for quite a few times. At that instance, I just wanted to get out of this place and a few minutes later, I saw the main road! So happy then my GPS did some boo-boo again! It led me to another dead end. Lucky enough I just followed my instinct, drove and finally reached town. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the exploring part (by accident) and driving the windy road.

As usual, there will always be photos that are unrelated to what I mentioned above. I ordered a 750 gig external HD from Amazon.

Juicy baked chicken slices marinated with honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and pepper, thyme and mixed herbs. For mixed herbs, it is advisable not to sprinkle too much cos' the smell is really strong. Then just put into oven to bake it at 175 degree. Just keep on checking it.

My internship has officially started. T.T
I wish that we don't need to do this. I hate assignments.

Stir fry pumpkin with dried shrimp. I am a fan of pumpkin. (If I tell that to Jon, he will say no wonder u look like pumpkin Heee 'You fei you ai' ni zhe yi ge fei ai dong gua')

On Sunday night, I went to the cinema to watch 'The Green Hornet" in 3D. Right after that, I am in love with Jay! The cinema looks quite old like in the 1980s. It gave me a sense of retro feeling.

The screen automatically widen sideway when showing THE GREEN HORNET

Today I finally finished cleaning and tidying up my room! Took me quite long  just because I always feel exhausted after work and don't feel like doing anything. I really have a lot of stuffs. I have 3 boxes that I just put in the living room.

Indian Summer Restaurant

Yes! I can't wait for Sunday to come because it is the start of my two short non-work days! I am fortunate enough to work till 6pm tomorrow even though I start early at 8.30am which means that I am already way pass my bedtime now. Okie, after blogging, I will definitely go to sleep with the rain pouring hard out outside. If only I don't need to work tomorrow especially on a rainy day. *sigh* It was raining the whole day while I was in the pharmacy. I thought it would stop. On the contrary, it got worse and worse. Today was also my first time driving under the heavy rain at night that I was so afraid my car might skid but luckily I arrived home safe and sound. I just hope that sunshine replaces the rain tomorrow.

I looked through my photo folders and realised that I haven't blogged about 'last Icc gathering" yet. This happened a couple of days before Jon and I left NZ for Brunei at the end of last year. Also, it was also a chance for me to meet up with my team members in ICC before leaving Dunedin for good.

Indian Summer Restaurant was recommended by Jon. The food and service are excellent! As the name of the restaurant suggests, it serves Indian cuisine. I quite like Indian food cos' they are very flavourful and never failed to feed my appetite.

 The Menu

Nice ambience too! If only I have DSLR, I could have capture the feel of the restaurant

We were the only FEMALES in ICC core team

These two monkeys behind the scene. Ed looks like he was dedicating a love poetry to someone

Imran loves the camera. Just admit it!
At first, I was thinking of butter chicken but after seeing this, I found it interesting. Therefore, I decided to give it a go!

The only 'black sheep' is Imran's because he ordered Tandoori Chicken which was served on a white plate. All of us tried a bit of each others' and I reckon the best one is mine. The others were yummy too!

My chicken Kasturi! Tell you what! If you plan to go to Indian Summer, order this!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
