New Year 2011

Here I stand today to declare that this week has been a hectic one in terms of working. Even now, I have yawned umpteen times while writing this entry. Glad that it is my off day tomorrow for sleeping in without the "melodious" alarm to interrupt my beauty sleep

Without further ado, I shall start writing about my New Year 2011 (I know I should have done this before any other entries this year). On New Year Eve, I worked till 7pm (And if you ask me how about New Year . . . Yes, I worked on 1st Jan too) -_-" Rushed back home, washed my face, get changed and went straight to the restaurant, Dickens Inn, with Phebs.

The reason this restaurant was chosen was the word CREME BRULEE on dessert menu when we passed by during Christmas Eve.

As usual, I ordered steak (A big lover of mooooo mooo)

On the contrary, my flatmate is very fanatic about oyster which I don't eat . .HAHA

Pork Ribs
BBQ Pork Spare Ribs
Roasted until tender with our BBQ sauce - Messy but oh so tasty!

 Frozen Margarita

The cool citrus flavour of Mexican Tequila, Triple Sec, Lemon and lime juice blended till smooth.

 yeah, the cocktail was hers

I prefer non-alcoholic to alcohol and hence I had Mocktail

 Beach Hut

Pineapple juice, coconut cream and ice cream, blended until smooth and yummy.

It's like drinking coconut cream "santan"

Next was dessert. Both of us ordered Creme Brulee but the waitress said it had run out so we were not satisfied then told her that we came here cos' of Creme Brulee. She was really nice to help us check the kitchen and told us there was only one left. Of course, we took it!

Creme Brulee was just alright because the bset one I have tasted was the one from Nova in Dunedin. Would definitely drop by Nova just for the Creme Brulee if I ever step into Dunny again

 Hot chocolate Brownies

 Esther joined us for dessert

Feeling bloated, we went for a walk from bars to bars. Nah, just 3 altogether. heee

We had our New Year countdown at Salut. Err... it was filled with "matured" people *urgh*

Look so elegant even when drinking out of the bottle

 Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Si-Do Do Do

In terms of club, I still prefer the ones in Dunedin. Not that I club a lot. It is just the feeling.
