This entry is just gonna be a short one. What I would like to share is the message from church today which was delivered by a pastor from Elim church in Auckland.
Discouragement and negative thinking are contagious. This is true aye. Having a positive mindset is important in your life so cast all those negative thoughts away! Shoo shoo!
The four causes of discouragement are: fatigue, frustration, failure and fear. I just realised that they are 4 Fs.
Discouragement and fatigue sit in midpoint. Initially, you are very enthusiastic but as time goes, you start to feel tired and tend to give up.
What is the rubble of your life? In order to reach your potential, you must clean up the mess. Otherwise, it would just keep you from reaching your goal. Frustration is the main point that keeps you far from reaching your goals.
Winner sees failure as temporary setback. Everyone goes through failure to reach the highest point. You learn from failure.
What fear is discouraging you? Fear of failing? Fear of relationship? Fear leads us to wrong direction. Therefore, we must peel off the fear to see your future plan that God has for you. As for me, my fear is failure, whether it be study, relationship or goals.
Do you believe that God can set you free from discouragement word and thought?
The 4 keys to overcome these are:
1 - Fatigue - rest your body physically, mentally, emotionally. You need energy to drive yourself to do things every second.
2 - Frustration - Organise your life. What do you really want?
3 - Failure - Remember the Lord. Some just tend to take eyes off the Lord and set eyes on problems but instead which is a big NO. We must see the solution and not the problem.
4 - Fear - Resist discouragement. Fight for your own daughter and son. We don't know what the future hols for us but we surely know that God holds our future.
Just put everything in God's hands.
I relate today's message to 2 things in my life and strongly believe that everything is God's wonderful plan.
