On the last day of June 2012 which is a Saturday, Mina and I watched Snow White and The Huntsman. I have been looking forward to this since the day it was released in NZ because of the main actor and actress. In addition to that, snow white . . . who does not like the story of snow white? Hence we watched it at 3.30pm which lasted for about 2.15 hours. I did not fall asleep so that's good despite the movie being too long for me.
A good movie must be followed by dining out. Since we are going to tonic restaurant for 6 courses meal (just degustation menu) this Saturday, we decided to go to a place where they sell reasonably-priced food. Let's go to one that we have never tried and so here we are! Rice and Noodles at Walton Street, Whangarei. Thai cuisine is served here.

Wearing Mina's specs for vanity
Pad Thai with beef
Tom Yum
Black glutinous rice with custard pudding
Sago pudding
Overall, the food is good and the price is reasonable. I will go again to try other foods.
